A while ago, a very sweet friend of mine visited Hampi and took a photo of a lovely but fading Hanumanji painting and I was so taken by the imagery that I just had to paint my version of it. If only we could go around all of the ancient temples & caves in India unleashing new life to the old, jaded & faded paintings and frescoes. It would be quite a task but I'm sure there are many artists who'd love to take on the challenge.
